    "Freddie was a wonderful man and crazy as a loon, the archetypal rock star - shy really, but when you knew him you could see that people aspired to be what Fred naturally was. Queen opened for Mott The Hoople and were lovely blokes and it really upset me when Fred died even though I hadn't seen him for a while, so I wrote 'Now Is The Time'.
